How long does Trimlight last?
Trimlight comes with a Lifetime Product Warranty. The lifespan of Trimlight is influenced by its usage frequency. When used solely during the holiday season, it can last as long as 30-40 years. On average, Trimlight will last between 20-30 years (assuming it is only used during nighttime hours).
Will the channel be installed to custom fit my home?
Yes, Trimlight permanent outdoor LED lights will be custom fit to match your home’s shape and trim style.
Do I need to provide maintenance on Trimlight or is it carefree?
When you choose Trimlight, a maintenance-free, worry-free experience is waiting for you. Should you need a bulb replaced, a new controller, or you require any product warranty work, simply contact the dealer who completed your installation. Any labor costs to make repairs on manufacturer defective parts are covered for a minimum of 1 full year. This may include faulty bulbs, power supply parts, LED controllers, connections, aluminum channel finish, etc. Some dealers across the nation may offer longer labor warranties but all dealers provide a minimum of 1 year.
Do you mess with my gutters and drainage system?
At Trimlight, we emphasize the importance of leaving your gutters and drip edge untouched. These critical elements are key to ensuring efficient water flow and safeguarding your home against water-related issues. Maintaining the integrity of your gutters and drip edge is paramount to preventing undesirable leaks and accumulation of water around your property.
How do they look during the day?
The Trimlight patented channel system is designed to match the color of your fascia, blending in seamlessly to hide in place and they are hardly noticeable during the day.
Do you have a setting for warm white?
Yes, we have a preset for warm white on the custom color palette screen in our app. You can design a range of white shades, and we suggest crafting your own white hue outside your home to observe how it complements your home’s architecture.
How many LEDs do your bulbs have?
Trimlight provides three bulb options. The Classic Bulb is equipped with one LED, whereas the 3L Bulb is fitted with three bright LEDs, and our Commercial Bulb also includes 3 LEDs.
Can I customize colors with Trimlight? If so, how?
You can customize your own colors using Trimlight. As you design your colors in our app, the bulb color will adjust, allowing you to preview exactly how it will appear on your home.
How much energy does Trimlight use?
Trimlight is distinguished by its cutting-edge designs and dedication to minimizing energy use. Our 3L bulb is just .9W per bulb and is run on a 12V system. Many other systems on the market operate on a 36V or 48V system, which makes our system more efficient, allowing it to dissipate heat more effectively and resulting in longer-lasting lights.
What is your product warranty?
Trimlight provides an industry leading Lifetime Product Warranty. This warranty covers any components of the Trimlight system for the life of those components, which is a 50,000 hour lifespan.
How long is installation?
Typically, the installation process is completed within a single day. However, for large residential spaces, the setup may span over multiple days.
